The Miami Valley Apprenticeship Group, along with representatives of the Greater Cincinnati Apprenticeship Council participated in Apprenticeship Day at the Butler Tech Career Center.  Apprenticeship training program coordinators shared information on career opportunities in the Construction Industry through panel discussion and conversation with students.

Approximately 80 students and educators were in attendance from various schools including:  Butler Tech D. Russell Lee; Lakota East & West HSs; Fairfield HS; Ross HS; and Madison HS.  The students were attentive during the Q&A session conducted by Marni Durham, Assistant Superintendent Butler Tech & Career Center, as each Program Rep responded to a question on apprenticeship training.  After the panel discussion, students and educators were able to travel table-tops displays manned by apprentice program coordinators to further discuss career opportunities in the Construction Industry through apprenticeship training.
