Miami Valley Apprentice Coordinators Group Hosts Success Business Conference Group

On Thursday, March 5, the Miami Valley Apprentice Coordinators Group hosted one of the morning sessions for Sinclair Community College’s Success Bound Conference.  Fifteen local school administrators and educators attended this event which was held at the Electricians’ Conference Center on Poe Avenue.

Information on career opportunities through apprenticeship training programs affiliated with the construction industry was shared thru tabletop discussions, expo style; a roundtable discussion with Apprentice Program representatives; a testimonial from a first year Cement Masons apprentice, and tours of the Electricians, Sheet Metal Workers, and Roofers training centers.

The Apprentice Coordinators Group appreciated the opportunity to host one of the early morning sessions of the Success Bound Conference.  Once “gathering” restrictions are lifted, the MV Apprenticeship Coordinators Group would be happy to discuss career opportunities through apprenticeship training at future events in schools and community events.
